Spring cleaning at the Aachener Kreuz industrial area: Together for a clean environment
On Saturday, April 20, 2024, the Schumacher Group, together with some volunteers and their children – the future Schumacher team – set about thoroughly cleaning up the Aachener Kreuz industrial area.
Equipped with garbage bags and garbage tongs, we decided to declare war on the garbage lying around. Our mission took us to the green spaces and bushes around Monnetstraße and Sankt Jobser Straße. There we joined forces to collect and dispose of a lot of plastic waste.
Inspired by the spring cleaning initiatives of the cities of Aachen and Würselen, we decided to launch our own campaign. With this measure, we not only set an example for cleanliness, but also underline our strong commitment to environmental protection. We care about nature and are proud to play an active role in keeping it clean and healthy.
It was particularly encouraging to see how the younger participants – our Schumacher youngsters 🙂 – were also enthusiastic about what they were doing. It is important to us to be a good role model for our children and to show them the importance of environmental protection and sustainability.
We plan to hold such campaigns regularly in the future and hope that we can inspire even more people to work for a clean and healthy environment. Every contribution counts and together we can make a positive difference.
